L. Lynch Knives
L. Lynch Knives is a small Australian knife manufacturer based in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales. Officially founded in 2023 after 15 years of making knives as a small time custom maker, we are still a small time operation with one goal in mind, to make the best gear we can without compromise. We are constantly upgrading our production capabilities and are in the process of setting up our own dedicated manufacturing facility. We have found a place in between Australia's many small custom makers and the larger brands out there.
Our production philosophy is simple, mass production where we can but not if it means compromising on quality. If a process can be automated it will be, but if doing something by hand is the only way to maintain our standards then so be it.
Who we are
L. Lynch Knives is first and foremost a pig hunting brand. It was our sticking knives that kickstarted our transition from custom knife maker to small manufacturer. As pig hunters ourselves we design the knives we want to use on our own hunts and our flagship knife, the Bullarab, is the result of that design process.
While pigging is our main focus we also dedicate our time to other forms of hunting, fishing, trapping, wood hooking, camping, bushcraft and generally anything else that gets us out into the bush.
About our Knives
Our knives are made using a combination of CNC machining and hand work to be no compromise practical tools. Our focus is on outdoor knives for hunting, camping, survival and general utility. The Australian bush is some of the toughest country in the world and demands dedicated purpose designed tools. Drawing on years of experience in the bush as well as input from experts such as professional shooters, hunting guides, military and private LE contractors, I work to create designs that work and execute them to the highest possible standards.
Design Philosophy
Our Knives are purpose designed tools made for hard use. Our focus is on practicality and function. LLK knives are not designed to look good, they look good because they are designed without compromise. We make tools, not art.

No Compromise Geometry
The blade geometry is what makes a knife. Ours have unique hollow bevel designs that can only be created with 3D CNC machining. Our manufacturing process allows us to produce blades with geometry without the usual tradeoffs of different grind types. Extremely sharp piercing points without sacrificing tip integrity, lightweight blades without sacrificing strength and rigidity without sacrificing cutting ability.

Evolution
We never stop looking for ways to improve our designs. We obsessively chase performance long past the point of diminishing returns for no reason beyond wanting to make the best knives we can. A small change to a knife isn't going to result in catching bigger boars or make your meat taste better but that's not why we do it.

Usability
Our knives are designed for real use. That starts with your ability to carry your knife. Every single LLK knife comes with a modular ambidextrous sheath that fits a variety of standard mounting hardware as well as being MOLLE compatible.
Our sheaths are not an afterthought, they are an integral part of the whole system.
