How it Started
My interest in making knives started back in my high school in Scotland in 2008. I had always been interested in the outdoors and when I learned steel could be hardened to make it hold an edge I resolved to make myself a knife. I didn't realise at the time that not all steel was created equal but the die was cast, I would become a knife maker.
In 2019 I moved to Tasmania, where most of my family live. I quickly realised the Australian way of life was for me. There are huge opportunities across the country for hunting camping and fishing, and with that comes an abundance of amazing food.
I now live in the Snowy Mountains in NSW where I design and build knives as well as getting out in the bush to hunt feral pigs whenever I can.
The Knives
I make my knives to suit the needs of anyone from the home chef cooking for their family to the hunter three days into a two day hunt. I use a combination of CNC machining and hand work to produce the best knives I can. I don't cut corners on design and I don't compromise on quality. I simply make high quality tools that will perform for a lifetime.
I am proud to produce knives that are functional and fit for purpose, that is why I use my name as my brand and mark it on every knife.
