How it Started
My interest in making knives started back in my high school in Scotland in 2008. I had always been interested in the outdoors and when I learned steel could be hardened to make it hold an edge I resolved to make myself a knife. I didn't realise at the time that not all steel was created equal but the die was cast, I would become a knife maker.
In 2019 I moved to Tasmania, where most of my family live. I quickly realised the Australian way of life was for me. There are huge opportunities across the country for hunting camping and fishing, and with that comes an abundance of amazing food.
I now live in the Snowy Mountains in NSW where I design and build knives as well as getting out in the bush to hunt feral pigs whenever I can.
The Knives
My knives are made using a combination of CNC machining and hand work to be no compromise practical tools. My focus is on outdoor knives for hunting, camping, survival and general utility. The Australian bush is some of the toughest country in the world and demands dedicated purpose designed tools. Drawing on my own years of experience in the bush as well as input from experts such as professional shooters, hunting guides, military and private contractors, I work to create designs that work and execute at the highest possible quality.
I am proud to produce knives that are functional and fit for purpose, that is why I use my name as my brand and mark it on every knife.
