Where are the knives made?

All our knives are made in Australia. While we occasionally send knives out for other processes such as coating or thickness grinding, we strive to make everything in house at our workshop in Cooma NSW.

What Steel do you use?

Our knives are made with a variety of different steels. Commonly used steels are Nitro-V/CSCJ1428, PMX - Gold or A2. More information about steel can be found on individual product pages.

What blade finishes are available?

A variety of finishes are available.

Uncoated

  • Stone - Matte Stonewashed raw steel (may show slight corrosion)
  • Satin - Premium hand rubbed bright polish

Coated - Cerakote E series

Available in three standard colours

  • Black
  • Bulldust (Tan)
  • Spinifex (Green)

We occasionally offer other finishes so keep your eyes peeled.

Will my knife come with a sheath?

All LLK knives ship with a sheath. Currently we produced hand stitched, modular ambidextrous leather sheaths. All our sheaths are compatible with a variety of commonly used mounting hardware.

Do you do custom orders?

While we started out doing custom orders we are transitioning into production knives only. There may still be very occasional custom order spots available but these will only be available to subscribers to our newsletter. We also plan to offer custom OEM/ODM for commercial customers.

Orders and Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

We will ship to most countries although there may be restrictions on import according to local regulations. We will try to ensure your knife gets to you although we cannot guarantee compliance in every jurisdiction. If in doubt contact us before ordering and we will work with you to try and get your order to you.

Note - We will not ship any products to Russia

Can I order a dagger in Australia

Daggers are not legal in every state in Australia. If you live in NSW, QLD, NT or WA we can absolutely send you a dagger. If you live in SA or Vic you will need a permit. If you live in the ACT we will not post daggers from our workshop in Cooma NSW to you.

This policy applies to any restricted knives in the relevant states such as machetes in Victoria.

When will my order be shipped?

Currently all orders ship within 14 days. We are currently in the process of upgrading our packing and shipping system.

Our workshop is only open 14 days out of the month so if an order is placed during a closed period it will be shipped the next working day after reopening. If the workshop is open it will be shipped on the next working day.

Can I collect my order?

Yes, select local pickup and contact us to organise. Our workshop is in Cooma NSW, one hour south of Canberra and around two hours from the Victorian border.

Note - there may not always be someone around so contact first to organise a time.
