The Monaro is a simple drop point design made for hunters of all kinds. The design has been developed through years of hunting experience to be the perfect game processing tool.
This generalist hunting knife featuring a 4.5" blade, offers a great balance between skinning and general butchering with plenty of curved belly as well as a point that is fine enough for detail work.The crowned spine makes unzipping the belly easy without worrying about accidentally piercing the gut and ruining the meat you've worked so hard to get.
The knife is light and well balanced weighing in at 112g or 3.9oz due to it's full height grind and tapered tang. Distal tapers in both directions put most of the weight in the centre of the knife making it feel agile in the hand and the classic "coke bottle" handle shape feels natural in a variety of different grips depending on the task at hand.
The knife comes with an ambidextrous modular leather sheath made from Australian "crazy horse" leather. All L. Lynch sheaths are hand stitched for longevity ensuring that if one stitch is damaged the sheath retains structural integrity.
